Good Mornings


INSTRUCTIONS :

The Instructions for the exercise Good Mornings is follows : This is an isolated exercise which benefits the lower back and makes use of glutes and hamstrings (it is one of the posterior thigh muscles) as secondary muscles. Set up the exercise by placing a barbell across the back of your shoulders. The bar shoulder should rest on the trap muscles (flat triangular muscles of the shoulder and upper back), but not on the back of the neck. Keep your back straight, stand up straightly and keep your eyes facing forward. Get into the exercise, by bending forward slowly while keeping your back straight, head up and eyes looking straight out in front of you. Lower yourself down until your back becomes parallel to the floor. Do not pause at the bottom of the exercise, immediately go to the starting position.

TIPS :

The Tips for the exercise Good Mornings is follows : Throughout the exercise, keep your back straight. The techniques you follow in this exercise, is more important than the weight. Stretch out your hamstrings down and contract on the way up. Always keep your eyes facing forward.
